Configuration of TP Link CPE TL-WA5210G as a repeater
Preparation
Since the DHCP function on TL-WA5210G is disabled by default, we have to manually assign an IP address as 192.168.1.X to the computer to match the default IP address (192.168.1.254) of the AP.
For example, we can configure the computer’s Local Area Connection IP address as 192.168.1.100/255.255.255.0
Configuration for AP Access Point by Using TP LINK TL-WA5210G
Since the DHCP function on the AP is

computer to match the IP address (192.168.1.254 in default) of the

Follow these steps
Here, you can configure the IP address as 192.168.1.100/255.255.255.0.
Connecting TP-LINK router into your network
Follow the steps below to connect your network:
1. Before you start, please power off your PC, Cable/DSL Modem, and the router.
2. Connect the PC(s) to the LAN Ports of the router, shown as below.

Ø Connect the computer which used to connect directly to your cable modem to the router.
Ø Only
use the Ethernet port on your modem. If you were using the USB
connection before using the router, please disconnect the USB cable and
connect the Ethernet cable to the WAN port of the router.
